"We have built a strong and enduring partnership with Onlight. For the past several years, we have relied on them to analyze, advise and implement a variety of Internet centric solutions. All have been scalable and utilized our existing architecture. I would recommend Onlight to anyone looking for cost effective yet progressive solutions and superior on-going technical support. Onlight truly goes the extra mile."

Onlight is constantly improving the real-world performance of our customer's Internet experience. Our engineers have perfected a line of appliances that intelligently manage two or more Internet connections so businesses stay connected - We call these appliances OASIS.
OASIS ensures 24/7 Internet availability and provides load balancing and bandwidth aggregation for highly reliable enterprise multi-homing.
The modern enterprise requires more than just Internet connectivity. Increased reliance upon Internet applications - large and small - means employee productivity and customer satisfaction now depend on continuous, ready access to all the Internet services their daily routines require. The modern enterprise demands Internet Continuity!
To meet this demand, Onlight has developed two Internet Continuity appliances - the OASIS TC2000 and OASIS TC1000 - each designed to ensure 24/7 Internet availability and provide load balancing and bandwidth aggregation.
Designed for demanding enterprises requiring the best of breed in Internet Continuity appliances, the OASIS TC2000 is scalable up to 100Mpbs using 12 diverse Internet connections. The TC2000 provides full bandwidth aggregation, rapid and seamless fail-over and load balancing all ensuring 24/7 access.
The days of "my email doesn't work" and "I can't get out" are over. The TC1000 was developed specifically for the small to medium sized enterprise hosting services (email, web, ftp, etc.) on-site on one server using one domain. The TC1000 handles up to 3Mbps of bandwidth and two connections and allows enterprises to aggregate the second connection increasing bandwidth dramatically.
These diagrams will give you an idea of how OASIS works under the hood. We are going to show how an enterprise with two Internet connections would use OASIS and also show where OASIS fits into the network.
Here's a quick description of the components in a typical OASIS installation.
At the top of the diagrams is the web browser that's used to create requests to the OASIS-protected web server.
Next is the Internet. The browser is connected to the Internet at the top and the OASIS-protected network is connected by two or more connections at the bottom.
The enterprise has two internet connections in these examples. The IP address of the connection to the first ISP is 64.1.2.3 and the IP address of the connection to the second ISP is 24.1.2.3.
At the bottom of the diagram is the OASIS-protected web server.
To see how OASIS works in a normal two-connection scenario when no outage is present, click here.
Here we show how OASIS handles a typical outbound web transaction. In this example, the web browser (client) is inside the OASIS-protected enterprise and the server is outside on the Internet.
In the next scenario, you can see how OASIS will deal with a "brown out" condition where a transient routing failure exists in a backbone. This is typical of the type of problem a backbone might face today if a circuit fails and a large number of routers need to suddenly reconverge. A situation typically develops that may last for up to several hours where a backbone is accepting traffic for a particular destination but is unable to deliver it.
With 3.6% of all annual revenue lost due to Internet and WAN downtime (Infonetics Research), can your enterprise afford not to have OASIS?
Think about how much even one hour of downtime costs your company in employee production and customer contact alone.
One of the most powerful aspects of OASIS is it allows you to use multiple inexpensive broadband connections and bonds traffic together to gain a robust and reliable solution.
Revenue, customer satisfaction and employee productivity are at stake when Internet outages occur. Our flagship OASIS TC2000 was designed for demanding enterprises requiring the best of breed in Internet Continuity appliances. Scalable up to 100Mbps using 12 diverse links, the TC2000 provides full bandwidth aggregation, rapid and seamless fail-over and load balancing all ensuring 24/7 access.

Based upon a powerful rackmount Internet security platform, the OASIS TC2000 is specifically designed for secure Internet connectivity. Designed with the Intel® Pentium® III/Celeron® processor, it provides high performance and meets Onlight's stringent requirements for an Internet appliance.
The system supports CompactFlash for OS and applications. This avoids service disruption caused by hard disk mechanical/magnetic failures. In addition, the OASIS TC2000 can support system memory up to 512 MB SDRAM. Both CompactFlash and SDRAM can be accessed and replaced for software upgrades through an easily removable cover. Designed with the Plug-and-Serve concept in mind, the OASIS TC2000 offers four 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing Fast Ethernet ports in the front panel. There are eight LED indicators on the front panel display which monitor network activity and network links.
For easy access, the front panel has a 9-pin, RS-232 serial port for local system management, maintenance and diagnostics. It is FCC and CE compliant.

The OASIS TC1000 seamlessly and immediately switches all Internet traffic to a second connection - no matter what type of connection you have. It also allows you to aggregate the second connection increasing your bandwidth dramatically. The OASIS TC1000 was designed for the small to medium sized enterprise hosting services (email, web, ftp, etc.) on-site on one server using one domain.
